A mixture of PKS8179 (85 mg, 188 mol) and triBoc-cyclam (94 mg, 188 mol) in DCM (4 mL)was stirred at ambient temperature for 2 h and then sodium triacetoxyborohydride (120 mg, 564 mol)was added. The resulting mixture was stirred at ambient temperature overnight. Excess reagent wasquenched with aqueous NaHCO3, the layers were separated and the aqueous layer was extracted withdichloromethane.
