We herein present the first synthesis of 1,1?-binaphthyl-2,2?- bis(sulfuryl)imides (JINGLEs). This new class of chiral Br°nsted acids was synthesized in one step from the corresponding BINOLs and imidobis(sulfuryl chloride).
